Operations Director
Dawn joined the agency in 1994 and quickly progressed through the ranks to become Operations Director in 1999 and now to oversee operationally the W&O Ilkley office.
Acknowledged as the lifeblood of her team Dawn’s duties include the day to day managing of staff and motivating and guiding her team to continuously raise the bar and deliver exceptional events. Vastly knowledgeable on UK and overseas destinations, Dawn has worked tirelessly to establish fantastic relationships with suppliers, ensuring the chain from delegate registration to the details at destination is seamless, enjoyable and it ultimately offers the best possible experience for our guests.
Dawn takes pride in each and every one of her projects but close to her heart and true to her explorer spirit are the complex incentive programmes to India, Jordan, Egypt and Vietnam, when she managed a triple centre incentive in the midst of a small typhoon! She also remembers fondly the novel experience of having a 5* Navy Commander as a client for a military personnel conference in London.
Dawn juggles a hectic work life with an equally hectic home life; she is devoted to her husband and two children and enjoys walking in The Dales with her chocolate labrador, Ruby.
