New team appointments

Starting January 1st, Sallie Coventry replaces Paul Bowie as the new Managing Director of W&O Events Limited. Paul left at the end of December to pursue a family business in a non-related sector. Sallie, formerly Operations Director, will manage the next stage of growth at W&O alongside the senior management team, and with assistance from the board of Western & Oriental plc.

In addition, a number of new appointments have been made in order to strengthen the operations and new business teams. The new team members consist of four Senior Account Managers (Vicky Fraser, Louisa Gartside, Danielle Littlestone and Matt Palmer), two Account Managers (Louise Patterson and Kerry Saxby), and an Account Executive (Zoë Crowest). A new Sales and Marketing Manager, Kristin Menke, has been recruited to support the business development effort.

The recent changes within Western & Oriental plc bring us closer to a range of companies with natural synergies and complementary service offering.

Our recent sales and marketing activity as well as the excellent results delivered by the Events Team led to a broadening of our client portfolio to include new companies in retail, finance, healthcare and pharmaceuticals. At the same time, we are enjoying a surge in activity amongst some long-established accounts in automotive and electronic goods.

Going forward we will continue to develop our existing accounts organically by providing an exceptional focus on service levels, state-of-the-art technology and customer care. Furthermore, innovation and our nose for strategic partnerships will continue to stimulate our development.
