The Ilkley Office of W&O Events Engages with Local Businesses and Expands Team

The W&O Ilkley office has become a corporate member of the Chamber of Commerce – Leeds, York and North Yorkshire. Since becoming a proud member of the Chamber, W&O has been privileged to sponsor a number of Chamber events which not only supports the Chamber activity but also allow W&O to build relationships with local businesses and raise the brand profile regionally.

Following the sponsorship of the Chamber’s Annual Dinner in the Queens Hotel Leeds on 28 January 2011, a hugely popular event amongst businesses in Yorkshire, W&O will be sponsoring a Business Lunch with guest speaker Michael O’Leary, CEO of Ryanair. The lunch will take place on Tuesday, 10 May, at Leeds United Football Club and will feature a Q&A session with Ryanair’s top executive.

Formerly Travel Management Team, the W&O Events Ilkley office rebranded to W&O Events in March 2009 and now operates as the regional office of W&O Events Limited with headquarters in London. The Ilkley team has been providing global event solutions for clients across several industries since 1994 and has a reputation of providing the very best in event management.

Dawn Mitchell, Operations Director at W&O Ilkley, is currently heading up a team of five and is focussed on expanding with the addition of a new Account Manager and a Senior Account Manager. This will strengthen further W&O’s commitment towards its existing client base and will allow the team to develop new relationships with the regional businesses seeking event support.
