Ioana Joins the 2011 C&IT A Listers

Now in its third year, the C&IT A List covers the top 35 events professionals under 35. And for three years running, W&O was proud to be represented by its brightest prospects.

In 2011 it was Ioana Jago’s turn. Ioana has been with the company since 2008 and has been involved in the key developmental stages of the business, from its pre-merger structure and the rebrand as W&O Events Limited in March 2009 to the acute commercial focus and function realignment during the high of the recession years. More recently, she saw the emergence of W&O as a serious cross-sector contender in the Yorkshire region via the Ilkley office and the London operation’s focus on pharmaceutical events.

Now joined by two exceptional sales and marketing colleagues, Kristin Menke, Sales and Marketing Manager and Ben Cooke, Director of Business Development, Ioana agrees that W&O’s Business Development team has never been stronger. In fact, Ioana is confident that given the company wide resources and the leadership of the new W&O Managing Director, Sallie Coventry, W&O will not only have a successful year but also draw one step closer to their mission – to become the agency of choice for pharmaceutical and healthcare companies whilst continuing our excellent track-record in automotive, finance, retail and IT.
