Kate Asquith

Account Executive

Kate started her events career as an Events and Communications Co-ordinator in September 2002 organising roadshows, exhibitions, conferences and incentives for Bradford & Bingley. She has subsequently worked for Travel Management Team (now W&O) some six years ago and returned to our Ilkley office in February 2011.   

Kate has a strong sense of commitment, excellent time management skills a good understanding of the creative and strategic planning processes and the ability to deliver high quality events. Some of the more unusual events include a series of spectacular celebration events in the Palace of Westminster, a conference at the Royal Armouries in Leeds for 700 attendees (to include 500 students, 100 Yorkshire business leaders, ministers for Yorkshire and members of the Kaiser Chiefs) and, Kate’s fondest event, a conference for 350 at Alton Towers where she worked on branding, the set design and booked a Kylie Minogue look alike for entertainment. 

Outside work Kate is a keen runner and in her role at W&O, she is keen to prove her drive and improve her product knowledge further. A marathon runner as much as a sprinter!
