W&O sponsors Eventia Award

Over 700 industry professionals from the events industry got together at the Hilton Park Lane on Friday 18 November to celebrate a spectacular night of awards. The Eventia Awards honour outstanding business-to-business and business-to-consumer events, and is the key awards and networking night in the events industry.

W&O was the proud sponsor of the 2011 “Eventia Rising Star of the Year” which seeks to acknowledge and encourage young new talent in the events industry. Becca Whyte of TRO was honoured Rising Star and was handed the award by Sallie Coventry, MD of W&O.

Supported by several members of the W&O team, the awards ceremony which was hosted by impressionist and comedian Alistair McGowan was a brilliant night out.  Johnny Robinson from the X Factor got the evening off to a fantastic start with his brilliant performance. Such a great start that some of the W&O team couldn’t sit still at their tables and joined him on the dance floor.
