Melanie Failes

Senior Account Manager

With an efficient and structured approach Melanie is fanatical about event management and brings 12 years of experience to the table.

After graduating with a degree in Travel Management she immersed herself in the Business Travel side of the industry and even moved abroad just to learn more about different cultures, the logistics of travel, accommodation and location-specific  activity scheduling.

When returning to the UK she started in Events and concentrated on using her destination knowledge to create individual and memorable incentives.  Her logistical talent was further honed when she spent three years organising an International Jamboree for 40 000 participants, an experience which she claims as one of her career highlights. Imagine Melanie overseeing over 200 different cultures learn to live, work and play together whilst camping in a field!

At W&O she has continued to work on incentives but has also turned her hand to the pharmaceutical industry and learnt the skills for this sector, taking on advisory boards, roadshows and congresses. Just another string to her ever increasing bow!
